House Prices up by 5.2% in the EU

Recent figures released by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, show that house prices in the EU have gone up by 5.2% in the third quarter of 2020, compared to the same period of the previous year. The highest increases have been recorded in Luxembourg (+13.6%), Poland (+10.9%) and Austria (+8.9%). Though at a slower pace, prices in Romania also continued to increase, with a rate of 2,3%. 

Data for the fourth quarter of 2020 is scheduled to be released on April 8th 2021.
