What does RapidCanvas do?

At RapidCanvas, we focus on democratizing AI for business teams who may not have technical expertise. Our North Star is to make AI accessible beyond engineers and data scientists, so that business users can interact with data in meaningful ways without needing to know how to code or deeply understand statistics. Before the rise of generative AI, non-technical teams faced challenges in doing data science and AI tasks because they needed to rely on complex templates or hire technical experts. Now, with generative AI, teams can simply converse in natural language to analyze data and gain insights without needing engineering skills.

Our Agentic AI platform, which we’ve been developing since 2022, helps businesses solve their biggest problems using Ai, without requiring coding knowledge. Information is the key to a company’s competitive advantage, but much of its value is wasted because companies haven’t been able to extract it. Using generative AI, our platform automates tasks like data collection, joining datasets, and providing insights from complex data sources. Our target market includes businesses in manufacturing, retail, CPG, eCommerce, real estate, infrastructure, and mid-market financial services—industries where technical talent is scarce but data insights are critical for decision-making.

What does the automation of 75% of data science tasks mean for businesses?

For non-technical teams, automating 75% of data science tasks clears away the barrier for implementing AI. Take the example of a mid-size manufacturing company trying to forecast demand and manage inventory. Without advanced IT infrastructure, it probably relies on spreadsheets and rough estimations, which is inefficient and prone to errors. Our platform allows these businesses to automate the forecasting process and optimize inventory management using machine learning. And it does all this without needing to understand the technical details of AI or data science.

However, businesses still need guidance on how to design these solutions. That’s where our hybrid model comes in. We pair clients with PhD-level data scientists who understand the domain and create custom solutions tailored to the business’s specific needs. After the design phase, the business can simply use natural language to implement the solution, with ongoing support from experts to ensure the AI model is constantly validated and continuously getting smarter..

Can you tell us about RapidCanvas’ recent funding and how it will impact your operations?

In December 2022 and January 2023, RapidCanvas secured significant funding, totaling $23.5 million, which will accelerate our growth. These funds will be used primarily in three areas: product development, scaling our expert team, and expanding our go-to-market efforts. In today’s fast-paced AI landscape, staying ahead requires constant investment in product updates and innovations. Our team is committed to keeping the platform at the cutting edge of technology, ensuring that we can continue to offer the most advanced AI solutions.

Additionally, as we expand into new verticals, we need to scale our expert team to continue providing the best and most tailored solutions to our clients. The funding will also enable us to invest more in marketing and sales efforts to build awareness of our platform and attract more clients, scaling to deliver on our promise.

How does RapidCanvas ensure seamless integration with existing data systems?

RapidCanvas operates like the “Switzerland” of AI, seamlessly integrating with a wide variety of data systems. Many businesses are locked into specific ecosystems like Azure or Snowflake, and while these platforms offer their own AI tools, they often aren’t flexible enough to integrate with all of the other platforms a company uses, or meet every need. We solve this problem by partnering with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and Google, and offering over 500 data connectors. Our platform integrates with any data source and all cloud environments. That makes it easy for businesses to keep their existing systems while adding the AI as an accelerant

Occasionally, clients have a homegrown system or an uncommon platform for which we don't have a pre-built connector. For those situations, we input the API documentation, and our platform automatically constructs a custom connector. I'm proud to say that we've never had a client system that our platform couldn't serve. This flexibility ensures that businesses can use the best tools for their needs, without being constrained by their existing technology stack.

What are some of the recent updates to your platform?

In July 2025, we introduced two major updates: asynchronous job execution and real-time environment health panels. Asynchronous job execution allows users to run complex data processing tasks without blocking other tasks from running. This enhances large generative AI pipeline performance dramatically. The real-time environment health panels provide a real-time overview of system performance, which helps businesses monitor the status of their AI models and data flows in real-time.

These updates are particularly valuable for clients with large and complex data sets. They ensure much smoother and faster data processing. The real-time monitoring also provides transparency, allowing users to track performance metrics and quickly identify any issues that may arise as tasks are executed.

How do you differentiate RapidCanvas from other AI solutions in the market?

Unlike many AI companies that follow the traditional SaaS (Software as a Service) model, RapidCanvas operates under a concept we call “Service as a Software.” While SaaS tools focus on providing businesses with a set of features or productivity enhancements, we focus on delivering actual outcomes. Our platform combines AI agents with human experts to provide bespoke solutions tailored to each business’s unique needs. This hybrid model ensures that businesses don’t just get a toolkit. They get the precise outcomes they need.

What sets us apart is that we don’t offer one-size-fits-all products. Instead, we work closely with our clients to design custom AI solutions that are specifically tailored to their business operations. This ensures that businesses are not just using generic AI tools but are able to compete effectively by deploying AI solutions tailored to their processes and goals.

What are your thoughts on the rapid rise of AI, and how should businesses approach it?

The rise of AI is a transformative moment, much like the advent of the smartphone. Just as the iPhone revolutionized communication and productivity, AI will revolutionize how businesses operate across all sectors. However, some businesses view AI solely as an efficiency play, or a way to cut staff. . Instead, they should view it as an opportunity to enhance their capabilities by working in tandem with AI. The key to staying competitive is learning to integrate AI into daily operations effectively and building a hybrid workforce that combines human expertise with AI’s power.

AI will change every aspect of business, from decision-making to operations, and those who embrace it will win. The key to success is not resisting AI but learning how to work with it, adapting your business model to the changing landscape. Businesses that approach AI as a valuable tool, rather than “just” a disruptive force, will thrive.
