Can you educate us on the role and importance of the antioxidant glutathione, which you have written extensively about in your book: “The Glutathione Revolution: Fight Disease, Slow Aging, and Increase Energy with the Master Antioxidant”?
Glutathione is the most abundant antioxidant molecule produced in the body, playing a pivotal role in maintaining optimal health. One of its main functions is to help detoxify the body by cleaning up chemical metabolites and byproducts that are produced daily. Imagine a clean refrigerator, free from mold and other impurities; that is how glutathione works in our body, ensuring internal cleanliness and functioning at all times, not just from external appearances but deep within the cellular level. It assists in warding off chemicals and other substances that you may not see or feel but are nonetheless present and potentially harmful. As we age, our exposure to these harmful elements increases, hence the continuous need for glutathione in our body intensifies, maintaining the ability to detoxify and quell free radicals which diminish as we age.
Glutathione is made up of three amino acids: glutamic acid, glycine, and cysteine. A diet rich in these amino acids can facilitate the body in producing sufficient amounts of glutathione naturally. However, around the age of 30, a person's need for glutathione surpasses their body's ability to produce it, largely due to increased exposure to harmful elements and a decrease in the production of necessary enzymes. This creates an imbalance where the body accumulates stress markers and byproducts, escalating as one ages, unless addressed. Being aware and taking steps to maintain a balanced level of glutathione can aid in delaying the aging process and enjoying a healthier life.
Can you walk us through your product portfolio and the science behind it?
The journey behind our product portfolio is grounded in over 20 years of scientific understanding of glutathione and its essential role in our body. Despite the known necessity to enhance glutathione levels, the challenge has always been how to effectively increase these levels. Our approach has been to provide the necessary amino acids to the body, facilitating natural glutathione production. Moreover, we innovated a topical spray technology that not only reduces particle size but also binds to the receptors on the outer layer of cell membranes, enabling the direct absorption of glutathione into cells where it can perform its cleansing and protective functions.
Our groundbreaking technology ensures that the molecule enters and operates within the cells, setting our products apart in efficacy and performance. This was a complex development process, aiming to make sure that the glutathione not only remains in the system but continuously works in cleaning and protecting the cells, with preliminary studies showing its presence in the body for around 4 to 10 hours. The application of this technology has shown astounding results, promoting the natural ability of the body to defend itself, potentially reducing the need for medications and empowering the body to rectify its issues from within.
How efficacious are your products and what has been your customers reaction to your products thus far?
Our commitment to efficacy has been a long, thoughtful journey. In 2007, we started working on the glutathione complex that was later released in 2020. During this period, extensive research was conducted to understand every aspect of glutathione’s impact on the body - the appropriate dosages, the short and long-term effects, and the most efficient method of delivery. It was crucial to ensure not just the potency of the product but also its safe and beneficial long-term use.
Customer feedback has been extremely positive, showcasing the true potential and efficacy of our products. For the very first time, we have been able to observe an increase in glutathione levels within hours of application, a testament to the product's efficiency. Moving forward, there is much more to learn and explore, with new information continually emerging, enhancing our understanding and potentially leading to the release of a second edition of my book to share these insights. Our primary focus remains on empowering individuals to bolster their innate defense mechanisms through the potent abilities of glutathione, promoting health and potentially reversing the aging clock.
How have you been marketing your product and what has been the general feedback from your user base?
I am fundamentally a scientist, engrossed in ground-breaking research in my lab, primarily focused on enhancing the stability of NAD molecules. I am glad to share that we have achieved a significant milestone by stabilizing these molecules for over a year, a massive leap from their natural stability span of four to five hours.
The marketing approach has been rather organic, relying heavily on word of mouth. Our customers, including renowned personalities like Tony Robbins, have openly advocated for us, fostering a community where users share their health journeys on our social media platforms. This grassroots strategy, centered on real experiences and transparent feedback, aids us in fine-tuning the product continually. We encourage this open dialogue, offering a robust support system where I am personally involved, always eager to understand every intricate detail of our customers' experiences.
Looking towards the future, could you shed light on the key commercial and product milestones that your community should anticipate?
We have exciting plans ahead. Firstly, we are venturing into skincare, leveraging our technology to create a potent line that embodies the goodness of 10 products into a streamlined day and night routine.
This initiative stems from my belief in nurturing the skin, our first line of defense, to foster overall health. Though the line has already been launched, its promotion is yet in a nascent stage, predominantly reaching out to key influencers and celebrity clients for initial feedback.
Going beyond skincare, we are in the continuous pursuit of sourcing the purest materials for our products, avoiding even slightly impure raw materials. It's a meticulous process that ensures we are in line with FDA and USP guidelines, using only pharma-grade materials to guarantee safety and efficacy. As a future endeavor, we are aiming to address various markers of aging, delineating them into two categories: external exposures like pollution and sunlight, and internal factors including chemical reactions within the body. The core philosophy is to "close the window first," mitigating these primary causes before addressing the subsequent aging markers. Our endeavor is not just to offer a solution but to establish a system, hoping to halt the aging process entirely within the next two years. The future is indeed promising as we endeavor to pioneer a revolution in healthy aging, embodying a proactive and preventative approach to holistic well-being.
